NEW ASIAN GALLERY FOR NEW SOUTH WALES The
rebuilt Asian galleries at Art Gallery of New South Wales was opened on October 25, 2003. These galleries house extensive Asian
collections and will provide space for regular temporary exhibitions of Asian
arts. Pictured
are Edmund Capon AM OBE, Director,
Art Gallery of New South Wales and Richard Johnson, Architect of Asian
Gallery. They Give Evidence is a confronting and moving work by Dadang
Christanto. Christanto’s
works speak eloquently for the victims of oppression and social injustice . |
